C K Kumaravel is an Indian politician and entrepreneur from Chennai. He is the CEO and co-founder of Naturals Salons, one of the largest beauty salon chains in India with over 570 outlets. He along with wife Veena Kumravel co-founded the unisex salon. He is a former member of Makkal Needhi Maiam party.
About his Naturals Salon
The first Naturals was started in the year 2000 with an investment of 30 lakhs in Chennai. Apart from unisex salons, they have Naturals lounge (premium salon), Naturals W (women salon), Page 3 (luxury salons). The prime aim of the Naturals founders C K Kumaravel and Veena is women empowerment. The Naturals has training centers in Chennai and Madurai that provides hands on training and ensures 100% placement at Naturals. The couple C K Kumaravel and Veena aims to increase thier number of salons to 3000 with over 1000 women entrepreneurs and 50,000 jobs by 2020 with branches in Sri Lanka and Dubai.
